I first meet Jim in Fort William (Thunder Bay) as a student at the Fort William Collegiate high school as a student . We later meet again in life when we both landed up as teachers and coaches of wrestling in the London area. Jim and I travelled often with our teams to various wrestling tournaments throughout the province and the U.S.
I will always remember Jim as a fierce and fair competitor who always put his students well being and concerns first. He was loved and highly respected by his students. He expected no less then their best effort and he always praise their results whether they were successful or not. A great teacher, coach and friend , who I will always remember.
My condolence to his wife, children and family members. It was my good fortune to have known and befriend Jim . He will be in my thoughts and prayers .
