Paul, Ryan, Melissa, Mrs. Roy, and Alain, I offer my deepest and sincere condolences on the passing of Nathalie. I am speechless and in shock. My childhood friend has flown off to a better world. Please be assured that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
My dear friend Nathalie, I am in shock to learn of your passing. I had heard that you were ill from your mother. We had exchanged a few messages via Messenger this winter. On Monday, I had actually thought I should call you! Just like you, I was afraid of disturbing you.
I will always have wonderful memories of us, from kindergarten to our adult lives. You remember our birthdays in our respective basements! When your father drove us to school in his Chrysler demonstrator or in the old reddish-brown car he carefully kept in your garage. I have so many memories, my friend. Our time working at Cree Energy, your wedding, the birth of your two beautiful children, etc.
I wish you eternal rest with your father, Lionel.
Watch over Paul, Ryan, Melissa, your mother, and your brother Alain with all your love. They will all need it greatly.
I send you a big hug and wish you a safe and pleasant trip. I will miss your visits to Val-d'Or and our phone chats.
Lucie Gravel, my sister Francine, and our father, Benoît Gravel, Val-d'Or
