Elena Kouzmina, age 96, died on December 17, 2025 at McGarrell Place in London, Ontario, where she had resided for the past two years.
Elena was born in Cherepovets, Russia on June 12, 1929 to Vladimir Smirnov and Julia Aksyonova. She emigrated from St. Petersburg in 1999 to London.
She enjoyed baking and listening to classical music. She was predeceased by her two sons: Vladimir and Sergiy, and their father Viktor Kuzmin. Elena will be missed by her friends: Jami, Oksana, Maria, Julia and Danuta. She was predeceased by her friends Lana and Ewa.
Elena was grateful for the care she received at McGarrell Place during her residency there.
