Obituary of Terrie Ann Lopez

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Terrie Lopez (Hearn) October 21, 1967 - February 5, 2025, after a short but courages battle with cancer. Devoted mother to Alyssa Lopez (Phillip) and grandmother to baby Talia. Daughter of Gerald and Colette Hearn (Gilbeau). Loving sister to Tim (Jo-Anne), Holly Houle (Dean) and Joanna. Loved by her nieces and nephews; Taylor (Max), Trisha (Cody), Alexander (Laura), Austin (Alexa) and Cade. Great aunt to four, soon to be five. Will be missed dearly by her amazing friend Susan Woodworth and her husband Don who provided a home for her last remaining days, we are forever thankful for your care and friendship to Terrie over the last 10+ years.

Terrie was a passionate person who was an advocate for stray animals and wildlife. She liked to leave her bedroom window open to feed the critters and strays. When she was younger, living in Nairn, she would rescue cats and lock them in her bedroom or dresser drawer so her parents wouldn’t find them. This made for some interesting finds when her mother put her clothes away. 

Cremation to take place in London, ON. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
