How lucky we were to have known Aunt Alice. She was a spectacular Aunt to have discovered, later in our lives, during that now infamous visit with the Strembles on their last visit with Mom in Newfoundland. She was a hoot with poise and quickly won hearts in our family. Her support during our mother’s illness was unwavering and as one of the youngest, of the youngest, in the Dolson line it was an honour to know someone who was so approachable and ‘in tune’ with all the ages and generations within our family. I know she’s with her peeps now and the thoughts of her and Shirley spilling the beans and freezing vodka together, makes me smile evermore. Much love and heartfelt sympathies to Jim, Karen, Craig and Jillian from the Sturge Family, Alison, Howard, Carleigh and Nicholas
