Obituary of Alice Marion Dolson

Peacefully at University Hospital, London, Ontario on February 11, 2025, in her 96th year.

Alice was a wonderful lady, considerate to all who met her, putting all others before herself. She was described to the family as a class act and a great baker of treats. Man, she could make a pie!

Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and George Oliver, loving husband Earl Dolson (1998), and eldest son Steven (2020).

Survived by her son Jim and his wife Karen, and Steve’s wife Sylvia. Precious grandmother to Craig (Britt) and Jillian (Spencer) and great grandma (GG) to Jordyn.

Alice worked for years in administration at Simpsons and then Victoria Hospital. When she retired she volunteered at the Children’s Aid Society where she met some wonderful lifelong friends with whom she enjoyed many cruises. Alice also volunteered at the UH gift shop and was there working on her 90th birthday, where they had a cake for her. Alice will be missed by many. Special thanks to the staff at Fox Hollow Retirement Home where Alice lived since 2020.
