I'm so sad for you Denise, all of the children and family members. I was so looking forward to renewing a friendship with Martin this summer. At least I got to know him a little better by reading his book, "Write Out of my Mind." What a keen sense of humor and wit Martin had. He will definitely be missed.

Please send our love and strength to all in Martin’s family.
Thank you Seana for reaching out to me with this sad news of Martin’s passing.
Unfortunately Martin and I lost touch with each other over the last couple of years but he will always be an important part of my life.
Martin and I worked together to create and produce global corporate events that had significant impacts for our clients.
Martin is credited for winning business by putting his brilliant creative mind to pen to weave a proposal/story together of what could be. His talent of writing could transport you into the space, time and feeling of what could be resulting in us being successful for our customers. All our business was won starting with Martin’s writing.
I credit Martin for creating the brand of our company and our tagline : Bright Ideas + Powerful Solutions. Martin loved doing great work with great customers and getting great results.
Martin was an incredibly talented man , truly the best of bread.
Above all else he had a wonderful sense of humor and a kind, compassionate spirit.
I am so grateful for the many years we worked together, and I owe Martin a huge gratitude, he will be missed.

It was a privilege and honor to get to know Martin Povey. He was a very honest and intelligent and charming man. I will never forget spending the winter months with him and Denise here in Arizona over the past 4 years. I loved to tease him about his addiction to socks and how he almost needed a whole suitcase just for socks. He was a great cook with detail to presentation.
Every time I read the story he and Denise put together for me about my dog Rebel will bring the fondest memories. You will be greatly missed.

I had the priviledge of meeting and knowing Martin during the “hazy, crazy, fun-loving years” when he was married to our dear cousin Mary-Lou Snow and he entered into “the French Connection and the Pritchard clan in Ontario.
Martin was truly a unique and interesting man of many talents and interests. Always brought a touch of class and a spirit of fun to any gathering, many of which were hosted by Mary-Lou and Martin. They both cherished their kids and extended families first and we were all so blessed to have been touched by their love and their crazy energy!
To all Martin’s family, especially Seana and Gavin who we knew so well, I extend our deepest condolences and a prayer that your wonderful memories will continue to bring you comfort and keep him alive in your hearts and lives.
RIP Martin and thank you! With love, Cousin Mike Dodds
