Obituary of Michael Peter Dykstra

Mike Dykstra, age 55, passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House on April 1, 2025. 

Mike spent his life doing for others. Whether it was delivering a load in his beloved 402 Semi,  making a meal for someone or lending a hand to a friend. He would give you the shirt off his back to make sure they were okay. Mike just loved people. He enjoyed entertaining, BBQing, had a great sense of humor and teased the people he loved the most. Family meant the world to Mike and he did his best to provide and support everyone.

Mike was the cherished partner of Krista Evely and father to Morgan, and Mitchell (Jesse) Dykstra. Mike was thrilled to become a grandpa to Violet, in his final days. 

Mike will be greatly missed by Krista's family including her son Matthew Ellis, and his children Darrian, and Hailie, brother Steve Snell (Janet),  sister Kim Helm (Dennis), and many other family members.  

Mike was the dear brother-in-law of Laurie Dykstra and Randy Yearley, and will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

Mike has now been reunited in heaven with his parents, Lowell “Bob” and Beatrice, his brother Marten, and his sister Grace Yearley. We are all certain that a joyful celebration was waiting for him as he arrived.

He will be forever in our hearts. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
