Obituary of Douglas Alan Taleski
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Doug Taleski, who left us on April 8th, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 72.
Beloved husband of Daphne, father to Sarah (Calvin) and Doug (Lindsay), and the world’s best grandpa to Aria. A much-loved brother of Wendy (Tim) and Brad (Denise) and cherished uncle to Wendy’s children, Timothy and Erin, and Brad’s children, Mitchell (Irene) and Colton.
As the owner of Travel Sports Equipment, ON, for 55 years, Doug’s endless love for adventure inspired everyone around him. He lived life to the fullest — traveling, boating, scuba diving, flying, hunting, and embracing the great outdoors. His was a vibrant life, gone too soon.
We will miss his unmistakable laugh, gift for conversation, and unwavering kindness and loyalty.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Doug’s life on May 3rd from 2-4pm at Joe Kool’s (595 Richmond Street, London). Come ready to share stories, laughter, and memories.
