Obituary of Margaret Ann Sheppard

With broken hearts we announce the passing of our precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Margaret Ann Sheppard passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2025, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Devoted mother of Cate Blue (George Harrod) and Cindy (Bill) Martin. Cherished grandmother of Emma and great grandmother to Melanie. Ann is survived by her siblings Sandy Gore and William “Bill” (Sue) Wilcox and her brother-in-law Ralph Chute. She will be missed immensely by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her grandson Dakoda, sisters Linda Chute and Nancy Robertson.

Ann enjoyed a great garage sale and loved antiquing with her best friend of over 60 years, Janice Evans. She was the office manager at Ferrell Brick and Stone for many years.

The family would like to thank the palliative care team and the amazing, caring nurses from St. Elizabeth Health Care and LHIN for their exceptional care to Mom in her final days.

In keeping with Ann’s request, cremation has taken place.
