I had the honour to have met Don and Marianne at Mc Garrells place. Don"s love was evident for Marianne he could not live without her. Marianne was a brave, strong, loving soul that kept her family together. She loved each one of her children and would boast of each ones talents and accomplishments. She did the same for her grandchildren. Family was her pride and joy.
She was proud to say she cheated death several times because her family needed her still.
She would knit scarves for her family and for charity. She even taught me to knit. She was always happy to chat and talk about her family and her life. At Mc Garrells she loved the floral arrangement activity and going out on outings with family. She was always a gracious host and this carried through even at the long term care where she would leave a container of candies for the staff in her room to take if they needed. Her organizational skills had her room well organized and her bathroom spotless.
She said she lived a pretty blessed life. When Don passed she was touched by a handprint he had left. It symbolized for her all the times they held hands together throughout life. Holding one another up. The loving touch and embrace. Caring for their children and grandchildren. The hand that built their lives together when they said I DO. She missed that hand, I hope they are together now holding hands and embracing each other. Marianne I will miss you.
PSW Carina.

Auntie Marianne was an amazing woman. She always had a huge smile when she greeted people, and always made you feel special and welcome. Her parties and gatherings were indeed memorable: delicious food, beautiful home, and she was always perfectly coifed. She is dancing with Don now, wearing a big smile, and the angels are smiling back.
She will live on fondly in many hearts. God Bless her and her wonderful family. With love and prayers, Nina and Ed

I had the privilege to know Mrs. B for many years when her eldest son David married my sister Ang. We hit it off right away and our mutual respect continued to grow over the years. Through email and conversations with Dave and Ang we kept up on each other and always looked forward to seeing each other. Glad you and Mr. B can hold each other again. Thanks for your all your love you brought us all!
