Obituary of Marianne Marcella (Letwin) Bilyea

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marianne Marcella Bilyea on Saturday May 10th.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a beacon of strength, generosity and inspiration. She dedicated her life to her loving family. 

Beloved wife of the late Donald Dignan Bilyea. Proud mother of David (Angela), Donald (Jane), Cynthia (Roman), Darryl (Filomena). Loving grandmother "Mimi" to Blake (Rebecca), Nicole (Liam), Natalie (Rob), Melissa, Nadine, Deanna, Danielle (Jordan), Ashley (Michael), Melanie. Affectionate great grandmother to Charlie and Ezra.  Marianne is survived by her brother Larry (Barbara), sisters-in-law Beverly and Betty. 

Predeceased by 14 siblings, brothers-in-law, Bob, Pete, Arnie and sisters-in-law, Arlie, and Jean Anne. 

Born in Canora, Saskatchewan, she later moved to Windsor with her parents. While working in Windsor she met her husband, Donald. They were married for 67 years, raised their family in Chatham, Ontario then retired in London, Ontario. 

Marianne took interest in golfing, ceramics, bowling, flower arranging, cake decorating. She also loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed making banquet meals for her family. She loved to travel with her husband and family all over the world. Her elegance and grace touched many. 

Special heartfelt thank you to Dr Karen Lo, the nurses and PSW's of McGarrell Place. 

A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday June 3rd at St Paul’s Cathedral, 472 Richmond St. London, Ontario, at 10:30 am. 

Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or Cancer Society of Canada and online condolences may be made at www.woodlandcemetery.ca. Arrangements entrusted to Woodland Cemetery.
