Al was always a stand up guy, a true exemplar of the virtues that all Freemasons should aspire to. Deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the many Brethren who will surely miss his presence in lodge. Rest in Piece my Brother.

I spent many days in the summers as a young man at the Graystones, shooting hoops, playing pool and hanging out. Mr. Graystone was always warm, friendly and welcoming to all of us who gathered. Those of us who knew and were touched by him are better people for it.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Al. He and Yvonne were good friends of my parents for many years, and I always enjoyed when I would see them at different events. Al was always so friendly and had a great sense of humour.

I’ve known Al for a long time and two of his grandchildren from Empress Public School. He always had a smile on his face and an impish sparkle in his eye! He will be sorely missed but Heaven will enjoy his humour, friendship and love. My love to his family. .

What a genuinely nice person. A kind soul and a beautiful family. I got very close to this family in the mid 80s throughout high school and the end of eighth grade. He always welcomed me in his home. His presence was always calm, cool collected and kind. Please accept my humble condolences Graystone family.
