Obituary of John Fitzpatrick McDonald
December 31 1940 - May 24 2025
Survived by his loving wife Brenda, daughter Andrea (Vincent) Lemire, stepdaughters Michelle (Jeremy) Hutchinson and Miranda Johnson (Chris Stewart). John will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren Jarod, Kaitlyn and Leah Hutchinson as well as Cassidy, Courtney and Kurtis Johnson. His adopted family from Australia will also grieve John’s passing, Raymond (Mina) Dodkins and Elaine (James) Walton.
John was a proud member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 128. He was also a skydiver for many years when he gave it up in his 70’s. Blue skies John!
As per John’s wishes cremation has already taken place and a private memorial service has been held. All he asks is that next time you’re out celebrating with family and friends that you raise a glass and have a toast to remember the good times had by all. Donations may be made to Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice.
