Obituary of Gary Allan Bozzer
April 30, 1952 – July 4, 2025
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Bozzer at the young age of 73. At Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on July 4, 2025
Preceded by his parents Reno Dominic, and Danica Bozzer (Banfinch). As well as his brother Brian Bozzer.
In loving memory by his wife Lynda Bozzer (Bilyea), his sister Donna Wallace from British Columbia, and brother Rick from Timmins. Loving step-dad to Joanne, Melissa, and Michael Shymanski. Devoted step Grandpa to Dylan Eddie and Parker Shymanski.
Gary was a Lion's Member for over 52 years which invloved volunteering with the Starlight Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Lions Telethon for food baskets for Christmas, Bar-B-Qing at car shows, Jazz'n Blues Festival, dog walk, and Purina Dog Guides. He would help wherever he was needed.
In Timmins, Gary was in Real Estate most of his life. He did numerous church functions as well. When Father Cosello told him “to get out there and sell tickets and be sure he came back for more”. Anyone from Timmins knows when Father Cosello told you to do it, you did. LOL
In London Ontario he worked at Good Life Foods, Weston's Bread, The West End, Vachon Cakes Company, and Metro.
Anyone that knew Gary, knows he loved to talk to people, enjoyed coffee, and crossword puzzles. He loved to have coffee with his friends on the weekends, which he comically called them the old farts. (You know who you are) Every magazine Lynda had bought with a crossword puzzle in it, Gary would have them done by the end of the day.
Gary would happy take his two dogs, Bella and Bear, our for some fresh air, but we know it was his smoke break time. (LOL)
Gary and Lynda would take Parker (his step Grandson) for rides in his bread truck, as well as to Farmer Gerry's farm. On the way they would count all the tractors they saw. Parker loved having sleep overs at Papa's and Nana's.
Gary would try his best to watch Dylan (his step Granddaughter) when she played for the London Devilets. He was so proud to say how great she was.
On the 19th of July at Holy Trinity St. Stephen's Church at 727 Southdale Rd. E., London, Ontario, the East London Lions Club will be holding a memorial service at 12:30 p.m to 1:00 p.m. Followed at 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m will be a Celebration of Life with food and drinks.
