Obituary of Barbara Gerilynne Theberge

Barbara Gerilynne (Lynne) Theberge, nee Sheppard

Devoted mother and grandmother, who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, Lynne passed away peacefully on July 31 in London, Ont., with her loved ones by her side in her 72nd year.

She was a passionate fan of rock music, especially Bruce Springsteen, whom she would travel far to see, and loved spending time at Lake Huron where her daughter has a cottage near the original family home in Sarnia.

Lynne also loved watching the Toronto Maple Leafs (especially Pat Hickey, Dan Daoust and Mitch Marner), the Blue Jays (especially George Springer) – despite the frustrations both teams often caused her and their other loyal fans -- and other sports, especially in her later years.

She is survived by her son Adam Theberge (Marie Carnovale-Theberge); daughter Michelle Theberge (John Middlebrook); grandchildren Mia Theberge (Mike Pedretti), Jesse Theberge (Dana Theberge), Liam Middlebrook and Jacob Middlebrook; step-grandchildren Nicola Carnovale, Tyler Middlebrook, Mia Middlebrook and Cody Middlebrook; as well as brother Jim Sheppard (Leslie Shepherd) and sister-in-law Karen Sheppard.

Lynne was predeceased by her father Reid Sheppard and mother Geraldine Sheppard, both of Sarnia, as well as her brother John Sheppard of London.
