Obituary of Stephen Murray Kelly
KELLY: Stephen Murray
May 18, 1958 – August 1, 2025
Steve passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer, with family by his side. He will be remembered most for his kind, gentle nature, and wonderful sense of humour. Steve was an award-winning hockey player in his youth, but due to mental health issues as an adult, he struggled to lead an independent life.
During this time, he had the unconditional support of family and friends. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Ann and Murray Kelly, and good friend, Don Martin (Karen). He leaves behind his partner of many years, Yvonne Okkerse, sisters Janet Cram (Brian), Margo Kelly and Sheila Kelly, and aunt, Mary Thomson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special friends include Heather and Mark Holden, Rob Wilkinson, Don Barber, and Rod Cowan.
