Obituary of John Mark Briglia

Peacefully surrounded by his family, John passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 69. John was a devoted husband to Cheryl Briglia, loving father to his children and children in law whom he loved as his own, Chris Briglia (Kristin), Steve Briglia (Christina), and Grace Stiver (Kevin), a lovable goofy grandpa to his six grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie, Noah, Ryan, Jack and Anna, a loyal son to the late Jack and Mary Briglia, and a loving brother to Tom, Andrea, Denise, and Ian.

John grew up in London Ontario where he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping with his wife and friends. John became a pilot, flying Air Ambulance and charters before moving on to Air Canada; retiring as a Captain. He would bring his family with him as often as he could on his layovers. John's passion for bike riding, vacationing and always making time for coffee with friends leaves many fond memories for his loved ones left behind. 

John was extremely generous, right up to the end when he donated his organs. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or Safe Families Canada, London Chapter.

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 24th, from 3 - 6 pm at Redemption Bible Chapel on Commissioners Road London, where the funeral will be held Monday August 25th at 11am.
