Obituary of Patricia Kathleen Cameron

Patricia (Patti) Kathleen Cameron

July 4th, 1961 – August 27th, 2025

Peacefully at home, we lost a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Patricia (Patti) Kathleen Cameron had a passion for spirituality, music, gardening, and painting. A graduate of the bealart program, Patti pursued a career in fine arts. She volunteered at the London Children's Museum and contributed to the painting and construction of many exhibits for the grand opening in 1982.

Born in Red Deer, Alberta, Patti traveled extensively with her family, moving to Fontainebleau, France, and Borden, Ontario, before settling in London, Ontario. Her happiest memories include flying in small aircraft with her father; camping, hiking, and canoeing in Algonquin Park with her family; walking with her longtime canine companion Hunter; and sharing her love of the theater, art galleries, and concerts with her children.

Patti was predeceased by her father, Edward Ernest Cameron, and mother, Mary Patricia Margaret Cameron. She is survived by her sister Deborah Ann Gourlay (Jeffrey Gourlay), and brother Edward Ernest Cameron Jr.; her four children Crystal Nicole Black (Brandon McHugh), Cameron Elisha Black (Ashley Lundrigan), Chloe Alyssa Smith (Darcy Daszkoski), Morgan Josiah Smith; and her granddaughter Emery Cameron Black.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Andrew Sripalan, Sylvia Paton, and the nurses at Paramed and VON for their exemplary care.

A memorial service in remembrance of Patti will be held on Sunday, September 7th at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 86 Base Line Road West, London. A Zoom link is available for those unable to attend. Those wishing to donate in her memory are asked to consider Museum London or the Canadian Cancer Society.
