She was also predeceased by her in-laws, John and Stella Park.

Dorothy lived a life full of love and quiet strength. She was a gifted baker and chef, an incredible gardener, an avid reader, a lover of animals, and exceptionally skilled in needlework and creative crafts. She shared her warmth generously, and her legacy of care, kindness, and devotion to family lives on in all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Joyce and John Firth, as well as Dorothy’s neighbours, the Richardson family, for their friendship and support over the years. Your kindness, companionship, and presence in her life meant more than words can express.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment service will be held on October 6, 2025, at Dorchester Cemetery.
