Obituary of Julie Michelle Lohleit

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Julie Michelle Lohleit (Butler) on September 30, 2025, at the age of 67. Julie was a loving mother to her three daughters, Amity, Dana, and Shelby. She was a proud grandmother to David and Matthew Dennis (Chris & Shelby). She is survived by her brother Timothy Butler and sister Teri Bentley-McGregor. Julie was predeceased by her loving father, John (Jack) Butler. 

Those who knew Julie will remember her bright, resilient spirit and the quiet kindness she offered to everyone, even in the face of life's many challenges. She had a true passion for music, with an eclectic taste that spanned generations—from the rock anthems of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne to the artistry of David Bowie.

In honour of Julie's memory, a Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. We hope all who knew and loved her will join us to share stories and raise a glass in her honour. Details regarding the date and location will be announced soon.

Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Julie's memory may be made to the Canadian Foundation for Women’s Health.
