Obituary of Nora Belle Stinson

Our family is sad to announce the passing of Nora Belle Stinson (Toll) on October 10, 2025 in her 87th year from a courageous reoccurring battle with cancer. 

Nora is predeceased by her husband Albert Edward "Ted" Stinson, her parents Gertrude and George Toll and brother Frederick Toll. 

Nora married into an instant family. She is survived by her step sons Richard Kim Stinson (Barbara) and David Shaun Stinson . From then on Nora has welcomed and loved her six grandchildren: Rachel (Tim), Laura (Eric) Andrew (Ellice), Nicole (T.J.), Jason and Kelly (Jason). Nora continued to welcome new arrivals to her family becoming a great grandmother to Lumi, Aiden, Macey, Ella, Koda, Bella, Aurora, Camryn,Raelynn, Carter, and Landon.

Nora spent her professional career teaching and guiding high school students in London, and after retirement she pursued her passion for travel and became a travel agent. Over the years Nora travelled to numerous destinations with her late husband Ted, and more recently with family members. 

As Nora requested a cremation has occurred and Nora will be interred next to her late husband Ted. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

We would like to express our appreciation to the Verspeetan Cancer Clinic LHSC, and the Palliative Care Unit of LHSC for their exemplary care and compassion for Nora.

Memorial donations in Nora’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a non-profit charity of your choice.
