Obituary of Donald James Fleetwood

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald “Don” Fleetwood, who left us peacefully on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Don will be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father, and loving grandfather, whose greatest joy was found at home with those he cherished most. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Valerie Fleetwood; his children, Jenna Fleetwood (Matthew Robinson) and Haiden Fleetwood (Celyne LaFramboise); and his grandchildren, Quinton Robinson, Brienna Robinson, and Hudson Fleetwood — each of whom brought him immeasurable pride and happiness.

Don will also be deeply missed by his loving father, James “Jim” Fleetwood (Pauline); his siblings, Robert, Angela, and Tara; and by countless friends who will remember him for his passion for sports, quick wit, and good heart.

Those who knew Don will always carry with them memories of his humor, his kindness, and the way his eyes lit up when he spoke about his loved ones. His legacy will live on in the love he gave, the memories he created, and the home he built — a home filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness.

A true family man, Don found his greatest peace at home, affectionately known as “Heather Haven,” where he spent countless joyful days barbecuing, tending the fire, and splashing in the pool with his family. His quiet strength, selflessness, and steady presence made him the heart of his family — always putting others first and ensuring that everyone was cared for.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
