Obituary of Doreen Edna Walker

Peacefully, on October 20, 2025, Doreen passed away at the age of 93 with her family at her side.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister Janet Clarke, daughter Alison Pearce, granddaughters Elizabeth and Emily Farrell, grandson Hunter Pearce and son-in-law Dave Farrell.

Predeceased by her daughter Deb Farrell and son-in-law Rob Pearce.

Doreen was born in Sutton Coldfield, England in 1932. In 1973 she emigrated to Toronto with her family. She moved to Bloomfield Hills MI in 1979 then back to Toronto in 1983. She moved to London in 1992 where she spent the rest of her life.

Doreen was a devoted mom to Deb and Alison and was adored by her grandchildren. She had a tremendous sense of humour, often regaling her family and friends with tales of growing up in England. She lived through the blitz during WWII and had many stories of those times.

She developed many friendships through Byron United Church and Ashwood Manor.
