Obituary of Jeanne Florence Mason

Peacefully, at home with her family by her side, Jeanne Florence Mason (nee Campbell) passed away on October 22, 2025. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband and the love of her life, Bill Mason, Jeanne will be dearly missed by her son Mike and daughter Libby Wilkinson (Turple), son-in-law Jamie, and grandchildren Emily and Jake, as well as by many loyal friends and wonderful neighbours.

Jeannie was known for her exceptional qualities that touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a thoughtful listener, blessed with good common sense, and a kind compassionate heart that drew people to her throughout her life.

Jeanne's love of cooking and baking brought joy to countless people. Her home was always warm and welcoming, filled with the comforting aromas of her soups, stews, and desserts. Jeannie’s joy in entertaining family and friends at her cozy home on Wyatt Street was a testament to her generous spirit.

An avid walker for many years, she continued this beloved pastime well into her 89th year. Her feisty side would occasionally make an appearance—often during conversations with her cable provider or customer service hotlines—reminding everyone of her spark and wit.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. At Jeanne's request, no funeral service will be held and cremation has taken place.
