Obituary of Paul Chartier
Paul passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in his 74th year, at University Hospital. Beloved husband of Cathy Barran for 34 years, exceptional father to Brooke Chartier and Danielle (Sonia Navarrete) Chartier, and devoted dog dad to Yogi.
He is survived by his brothers Denis and Moise Chartier, his in-laws Cindy and Paul Soetemans, Chris and Susan Barran, Cam and Jane Barran, and Colleen and Brian Parker. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews whose lives he impacted in such a positive way. He is predeceased by his parents Lorenzo and Delores Chartier and by his brother Bobbie Chartier.
Paul loved travelling the world with Cindy and Paul and other friends, riding his motorcycle, hiking with Yogi, spending time in PEI visiting Denis, but his constant joy was spending time with his daughters. He loved sharing stories and pictures with everyone and always had a joke ready to tell. He will be profoundly missed.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
