Obituary of Joan Marie Farrell
Joan passed peacefully with her family by her side at Victoria Hospital, London, on Oct 30, 2025 at the age of 83, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joan will be dearly missed by her sons Rick (Lisa) and David (Carolyne), daughter Lynda (Murray), beloved brother Dave, sister Liz, grandchildren Amanda (Taylor), Matthew (Michelle), Kerstyn, Ryan, Megan and Devin, great-grandchildren Mason and Emerson, and by her many loyal friends.
The family would especially like to acknowledge her dear friend Karin Seer who has been a tremendous support to Joan and the family over the years.
Joan was a proud and long time member of Beta Sigma Phi, Red Hat Society and long time volunteer at the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Donations in Joan's name to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A celebration of Joan's life will take place in the Spring.
