Obituary of Rosemary Ann Murray

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rosemary Ann Murray (née Ford) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Sisters of St. Joseph Hospice in London, Ontario. Surrounded by her children, Rose left this world far too soon but will be remembered lovingly by all who knew her.

Predeceased by her husband, David, Rose is survived by her children, grandchildren, sister, cousins, and dear friends. Loving mother to Caitlyn Sarah Clarkson (Dan), Andrew David Charles Murray (Heather and her daughter Piper), and Laura Christine Murray (Liat and fur-baby Adore). She was immensely proud of her grandchildren, Avery Elliott Clarkson and Emma Rose Clarkson, who were a light in her life.

It is with great respect and affection that we remember Rose, as a devoted educator, coordinator, and small business owner whose life’s work reflected an unwavering commitment to community.

Rose was an entrepreneur and caregiver, the proud co-owner of The Beaches Bookshop with her husband David, a home daycare provider, and the founder of Treehouse Family Daycare Services, where children experienced warmth, safety, and guidance under her care.

Her professional background included a deep commitment to community service and personal growth. As an Early Childhood Educator, Life Skills Coach, Family Mediator and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Rose worked to help families and individuals find understanding, stability, and renewed connection.

Throughout a distinguished career in education and social services, Rose worked with passion and professionalism. As a Professor and Program Coordinator at George Brown College, she focussed on bringing out the best in her students and inspiring them to serve their communities with integrity and compassion.

Rose will be deeply missed by family, friends and colleagues. In keeping with Rose’s wishes a private celebration of life will be held at some point in the future.
