Clayt & Marlene lived in the same house for over 60 years, which he was proud of & called it his “Ponderosa”. Billy was a truck driver for over 57 years; he finally retired at the age of 79 to help care for his wife of 61 years (even though she really wanted him back on the road). Although battling Alzheimer’s later in life when having issues @ times he would say “I’ve been driving truck for 50 years”, he never forgot that.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday January 24th 2:00pm – 6:00 pm, Polish Hall (lower hall) 554 Hill St., London, ON. Ashes of Clayt & Marlene will be laid to rest together at Webbwood Protestant Cemetery spring/summer. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario.
