Lovingly known to my partner, Linda, and me as Aunt Val, she was a thoughtful listener who offered support, guidance, and wisdom exactly when it was needed most. Through both her words and her presence, she taught us so much about life. She often reminded us, “I have been your age; you have not been mine,” and as time passes, those words continue to deepen in meaning.
One conversation with Aunt Val has stayed with me always. When I once asked her for a piece of wisdom, she answered without hesitation that she wished she had learned earlier the power of prayer. I have carried her words ever since. Because of her, I begin each day with gratitude and end each night in prayer, thanking God for life, family, loved ones, and this beautiful journey.
We shared many meaningful conversations about life and love, and the faith and wisdom she carried throughout her years brought us great comfort. Aunt Val holds a forever place in our hearts, and we are truly blessed to have known her.
She was dearly loved by Linda and me, and we always felt that love returned. Her presence, kindness, and spirit will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Our sincerest condolences to the family.
