Obituary of Velma Ruth Muldoon

Velma R. (Ruth) peacefully claimed her wings to our heavenly father with her family by her side January 4th, 2026, at Southbridge Nursing Home in London, Ontario. Velma R. (Ruth) Muldoon (nee Barron) formerly of West Zorra, Stratford, Thunder Bay, Toronto, London. She was in her 95th year.

Velma was born April 28, 1930; daughter of the late Wesley and Elizabeth (Mackay) Barron. Loving mother of her sons, Christopher, Stephen and daughter Patti.

Predeceased her son Paul Anthony Muldoon (2010).

Proud grandmother of Bryce Muldoon (Laura) and Brendan Muldoon (Mona) and Seana Tye (Baine). Very proud great grandmother to Finley, Avery and Sophie Muldoon. Daughter in law Dianne Muldoon.

Besides her parents Velma was predeceased by her sisters Verna E. Doupe (Sam), Vonda Lemmons (Stan), brothers Mac Barron (Evelyn) and Orval Barron. Velma had many nieces and nephews.

Velma worked at a bank in her younger years and also worked for an Office Supply Company in London for several years. Her favourite pastimes were reading, listening to Jazz and road trips to new destinations and Visiting family.

In keeping with Velma’s wishes will be a private family service.
