Dear Aunt Wendy, Debby & Jacqui,
I was so saddened to hear about Uncle Dave. I can't imagine how difficult this is for you, and I am holding you all very close in my thoughts.
Uncle David was such an important part of our family - especially for me who grew up looking at him as the leader of the "London Foster's). It didn't matter if the Foster's were gathering in Markdale, Orillia, Collingwood, Alliston, Aurora, or Mississauga - he and the entire London Family would always show up led by David, making sure the family stayed connected.
I'll always remember how he could lead any conversation, (he could talk sports, world affairs and politics or just fun conversation) including everyone and make things fun. There was comfort in having him around at these events - you just new it would be a good time. He had that presence. He genuinely cared about the extended Foster Family, and that means a lot.
He was a proud Foster, and he sent a strong example for all of us.
He will be missed by Stephen and the Foster Family
