Obituary of Marie Ann MacTavish

It is with deep sadness that the family of Marie Ann MacTavish, announce her passing in Strathroy, Ontario, on February 21, 2026, at the age of 90. Marie lived most of her adult life in Nova Scotia, mainly in Kentville.

Marie was the daughter of Leon and Mae (nee Hollister) Cone. 

Marie was predeceased by her husband, the Reverend Dale MacTavish, in 1980. Marie is survived by her children, Andy, Scott, Tammy (Terry), and Glen (Jennifer), as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marie enjoyed travelling, gardening, knitting, needlework, and listening to music. She was a member of United Baptist churches for many years. She worked for an aircraft company, also in social work, and as the Chaplain Counsellor at a correctional centre.
