Adrian Durham

Obituary of Adrian James Durham

Adrian Durham, born May 28, 1972, passed away on March 11, 2026, in his lifelong hometown of London, Ontario.

Adrian will be remembered for his hilarious sense of humor, his quick wit, and his gift for bringing people together—most often at his kitchen table, with delicious meals that so many of us had the privilege to devour. Every meal he made was a big deal and unmistakably his.

Adrian leaves behind his beloved daughter, Ellara Durham, who has always been the centre of his world. He is also deeply missed by his father Bruce Durham (Maggie); his sister Carmen Lazorek (Michael); Gerry Blais, his closest friend; his step‑brothers Nathan Goudy (Courtney) and Liam Goudy (Leneah); his step‑brother Jesse Pomerantz; and his half‑sister Cecily Bristow‑O'Flaherty (Michael).

Adrian was a proud uncle to Jack, Kate, and Spencer Goudy; Miranda and Nolan Lazorek; Sierra and Logan Pomerantz; and Ciaran and Aidan O'Flaherty. He also held deep affection for his cousins—Cindy, Brent, Alaina, and Ryan—and the many friends who touched his life over the years.

Adrian’s heart and home extended well beyond immediate family. He was a loving parental figure to his extended children—Nicole Lamothe, Jessica Lamothe, Rachel Blais, Sammantha Burtch‑Santelli, Savannah Mozetic, and Owen Serieska, who passed away six years ago at a young age and remained forever cherished in Adrian’s heart.

He also leaves behind close friends Lisa Spencer (Ellara's mother) and Lorraine McGratten (Owen's mother), whose presence in his life brought joy and connection.

His happy place was Muskoka, where he was famously known as the captain of any boat he zoomed around the lake on. It was there that he first learned to waterski—and later taught countless kids to get up on the water for the very first time.

He is predeceased by his mother, Patricia McFee, and his step‑father, David Pomerantz, whom he cherished deeply.
