Norma Mae Sharpe
November 1, 1934 - March 20, 2026
Norma went to her heavenly home on March 20, 2026. She lived a life of faith, grace and love into her 90s. She was an unwavering example to all who were blessed to know her- especially the two who got to call her Mom. Endlessly patient, talented and creative she devoted her days to making the lives of those around her better- family, friends, neighbours, her church group, and her community. She gave her best every day with authentic positivity, integrity, kindness and warmth.
Norma carried on with peace and strength after the death of her beloved husband Harold. Norma will be irreplaceable in the lives of her son Robert (Brenda) Sharpe, grandsons Ryan and Derek Sharpe; and daughter Linda (David) Climenhaga, grandchildren Jessie (Pierre), Christy (Christopher), Sarah (Andrew) and Blair (Erica), along with 7 great grandchildren.
Her legacy is the example of an ordinary life, lived extraordinarily. Sincere thanks to the staff at Oak Crossing Retirement home, and the 9th floor nurses and Palliative Care Doctors at University Hospital for their many kindnesses and care.
She will have a private family service.
