Obituary of John Leslie Milner

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John Leslie Milner on April 07, 2026 at the age of 77. 

John was first and foremost a proud and loving father to his three children (Lindsay, Chris, and Paul) . He adored all 5 of his grandchildren (Sawyer, Adalyn, Alivia, Nicholas, and Aubrey). And loved all of his granddogs over the years, spoiling them all with extra treats, every visit.

Always remembered by his family where he grew up and later visited in Toronto (predeceased mother- Dorothy, father- Herbert, sister- Pat). Survived by his sister- Barb, and nieces and nephews: Tracy, Kelly, Robert, Nicole, and extended family. 

John's spirit and character of strong will, resiliency, positivity and love for family were perhaps the highlight of his last 13 years as he fought through and overcame many health obstacles. He was able to teach an everlasting and perhaps the most important life lesson to all who knew John, to never give up. 

John had an exceptionally successful career in sales. At home he was a talented cook and always refused anything but home cooked meals over the years.

John loved the outdoors and built a lifetime of memories camping with his children.

John will always be remembered and forever missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life for John will take place at a later date.
