Obituary of Paul Conway
Charles Paul Thomas Conway (1945 - 2026) - In his 81st year, Paul passed peacefully on April 20 in London Ontario. Beloved father of Meaghan (Jim) and adored by his granddaughter, Emilia. Paul is also survived by his younger sister Pamela (Tim), nephew Jackson, niece Afton, and sister in law, Carol. Paul was preceded by his father Hugh, mother Christine, and brothers Peter and Patrick. He will be greatly missed by many other friends and family.
Paul was born in Halifax England but moved to Canada as a baby and lived in many places within Canada. Growing up, Paul was a devoted basketball player, the first pledge in his fraternity at North Albion Collegiate and was instrumental in running H.A.R.P House in Thistletown. He was an avid camper, comedy collector, and writer, and had an unlimited sense of humour and wit. He was easily liked and could sit and chat with anyone. Most of all, he was loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 6 from 1-4pm at Bernie’s Bar and Grill at 1290 Byron Baseline Rd in Byron (London). In Lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Paul’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Foundation or Heart and Stroke.
