Obituary of Mona Margaret Lake

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mona Lake, who left us peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Victoria Hospital, London, surrounded by loved ones.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 62 years, Donald Lake, and will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Andy Bonis. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Christopher Lake, and will be fondly remembered by his wife, Sue.

As a grandmother, she was always there with love and support, and she cherished every moment spent with her family. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren, Tiffany (Pat & Susanna), Brett (Crystal), Tracy (Nikil) and Dakota (Mer), and also her 8 great-grandchildren, Cohen, Emma, Callum, Sam, Braxton, Cassidy, Gordon and James.

She is survived by her sister, Pat Gervais and predeceased by her sisters, Alice Arsenault and Anne Marie Blythe. Her presence will be missed by all extended family, friends and those who loved her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the palliative care team at Victoria Hospital, London, for their kindness and support during her final days.

Cremation has taken place. We invite family and friends to join us at Woodland Cemetery, London, on May, 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm, for a memorial service and spreading of the ashes.
