Obituary of Tomasz Teterycz

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tomasz (Tomek) Teterycz on June 8th, 2026, at the age of 47.

Tomek is lovingly remembered by his mother, Halina, his brother Artur, his wife Karina, and their children, Veronika—Tomek’s goddaughter—and Jacob. He is also survived by his aunt, Jadwiga, her son Marek, as well as Jacek, his wife Eliza, and their children. He is further remembered by his brothers-in-law, Andrzej and Ela, and sister-in-law, Agatha, and her family. He will be deeply missed by all his friends, neighbours, and extended family in Halifax, the United States, and Poland. Tomek was predeceased by his father, Jan, his grandmother, Maria, and his uncle, Janusz, beloved husband of his aunt Jadwiga.

Tomek loved his family deeply. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle who took great joy in being present for the people he cared about. Always ready to help, he could often be found cutting grass at his brother’s home, tinkering in the garage with Artur and Jacob, or lending a hand at his brother’s shop, Top Gear Import Parts. Tomek’s other great passion was sports; he loved watching any game and took delight in following every team and season.

The rosary (10:30 am), followed by a Funeral Mass (11:00 am), will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish Catholic Church, 419 Hill St., London, ON, on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria St., London, ON.

Tomek’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
