Obituary of William "Bruce" Brewer

December 21, 1957 – June 14, 2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William Bruce Brewer on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in his 68th year.

Bruce leaves behind his beloved daughter, Aimee, and his three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Barry, and his sister, Beth. Bruce was predeceased by his parents and his sisters, Bonnie and Suzanne.

Bruce lived an adventurous life and earned his living as an appliance repair technician. He had a passion for fast cars, big fish, good friends, and cold beer. His larger-than-life personality and sense of adventure left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Bruce will be remembered fondly by many friends and family members, especially the Skinner family, whose lives were forever touched by his courageous actions in 2003. In recognition of his bravery, Bruce was awarded the Governor General’s Medal of Bravery in 2004.

Bruce has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday July 10th, 2026, from 2-4pm at Fatty Patty’s, 390 Springbank Dr. London, all are welcome.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
