Susan Lynn Deeks

January 26, 1954 – June 21, 2026

With heavy hearts, the family of Sue would like to acknowledge the passing of a wonderful human being.

Born into a loving family, she brought those values to her own. A hard worker in every sense of the word, Sue built a life defined by dedication — to her career, to her community, and above all, to the people she loved. She strongly believed in women’s equality and supported breast cancer awareness. She refreshingly spoke her mind, but was always there for anyone who needed help — and she never once compromised on what she believed in.

Family was Susan’s greatest joy and her truest calling. She poured herself into the lives of those she loved, and her presence will leave a mark that even in death cannot be diminished.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband Richard; her son David (Muriel), proud parents of her cherished grandchildren Eleanor and Simon; and her son Chris (Angie).

She will be remembered as a woman who loved fiercely, lived fully, and left every room a little warmer for having been in it.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honour Susan’s memory consider donating to St. Joseph’s Hospice London, whose compassionate care meant so much to the family during this time:
