Obituary of Jeffrey Peter Beck

The family of Jeffrey Beck is deeply saddened to announce his passing on June 22, 2026, in the I.C.U. of University Hospital. Born in London in 1956 to Don and Wilhelmene Beck, Jeff spent his early years between London and Bayfield, developing the curiosity and sharp mind that would define his life.

Jeff leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his wife and partner of over 41 years, Heather Moller. His kindness and devotion live on through his children, Cian Beck, Chad Yaremko (Erin), and Hali Blake (Jordan), as well as his beloved grandchildren, Ash and Marlowe. He will also be dearly missed by his brothers, Michael and Christopher, along with his nieces and cousins.

A man of profound intellect, Jeff pursued his passion for English Language and Literature at Western University—where he also met the love of his life, Heather. He went on to enjoy a dedicated career with the Government of Canada, serving for over 25 years with characteristic diligence.

Jeff was a true renaissance man, with a deep-seated love for literature, science, and politics. He was perhaps  best known for his razor-sharp wit; he had a unique gift for turning any moment into an opportunity for laughter, a testament to his intelligence and his playful approach to the world. Though he faced significant health challenges for many years, Jeff remained a relentless fighter. Even when a fall led to brain trauma, subsequent surgery, and complications, he faced his final chapter with the same courage and spirit that defined his entire life.

Visitation, service and reception starting at 1 pm at St Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church on Springbank Drive on Saturday, September 12^th, 2026. Donations in Jeff’s memory can be made to the London Health Science Association Renal Patient Assistance Fund.
