Uncle A,
Thank you for letting me tag along every summer for so many years. I can still picture those drives up to the port, crammed into the back of whatever truck you were driving that year, listening to everything from Marilyn Manson to Led Zeppelin to Gorillaz.
You never said no to a good flea market or a drive off the "end of the world," just to hear Jenna and me scream. Your laugh and that timeless mustache will live rent free in my mind forever.
Thank you for taking care of me, for being my uncle, a father figure when I needed one, my coach (that one year), fishing buddy, and so much more. You helped shape me into the person I am today, and I'll always be grateful. I was so lucky that every time Jenna asked, "Can she come too?" you were so easily persuaded.
You gave me a love for fishing derbies, little adventurers and the itch to always find something fun to do.
I love you. Now go save my dad from Nana, he needs his brother. <3
