Peacefully at Veterans Care Program at Parkwood Institute, London, Ontario on June 27th, 2026 at 82 years of age, Passed away surrounded by family and Love.

Beloved husband of predeceased Aileen Abbott (2006), Rosalind Morris Abbott (2016).

Loved father of Kathleen Hurley (Brendan), Veronica Vail (Peter), Christa Welch.

Caring Grandfather (Papa) to CJ Hurley (Denise), Megan Abbott, Makenzie Bruinsma (Thomas), Brandon Vail, Taylor Fletcher (Ryan), Jackie Welch.

Beloved Great Grandfather (Great Papa) to Sophie, Hunter, Havayah, Mason, Harper, Izabella, Hayden, Adam.

Beloved brother of Jeanine Thyssen, Tom Abbott, Dan Abbott (Donna) Roxanne Kelly (Ed), Predeceased David Underhill.

Predeceased by his parents Shirley & Clayton Underhill, Roy Abbott.

Loved Uncle to many nieces & nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
