Obituary of Douglas Charles McGladdery

Douglas McGladdery, born July 3, 1940, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, surrounded by love. 

Doug is missed by his sons, Shawn (Robyn), Jeff (Deb), and Paul. He was thrilled to share time during a recent event with his grandchildren, Shelby (Vince), Ryan (Lisa), and Mackenzie (Matt). He was also delighted to be with all of his great-grandchildren: Miles, Lua, Marco, and Morgan.

Doug will be reunited with Sharon, his beloved wife, whom he missed greatly since her passing in February 2024, as well as with his mother and father, Helen and Charles.

Doug loved his life behind the camera as a local London videographer and enjoyed his monthly lunches with the news crew from CFPL. He also looked forward to spending time with his lifelong friend, Pat Partridge, reminiscing about old shenanigans.

Doug will be missed by all. Final arrangements have been handled by Woodland Cemetery, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
