Our beloved mother, Bernice Irene Davis (Meredith), passed away gently on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the age of 85. She was the heart and soul of our family, and her spirit will be reunited forever with our late father, David Artie Davis.

Bernice’s memory will live on through her loved ones as she leaves behind her two sons Clark (partner Sandy; son Andrew) and Ken (wife Jeanette) and her beloved grandchildren Mackenzie and Jackson. Bernice will be sadly missed by her sisters, Melba (late Ernie) and Nancy (Gary); and by brothers Jim, Edwin (Nancy), and Clark (Nancy). She was predeceased by siblings Donna, Joyce, Douglas, and parents Kenneth & Marjorie Meredith. Bernice will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

After meeting the love of her life, David, in Simcoe, the couple moved to London and were married in 1962. They both were employed at Northern Telecom before becoming self-employed and raising a family in London. Upon retirement, the two loved their river life in Pt. Lambton, spending many happy years in Bonita Springs, Florida during the winters, cruising, trips with grandkids, and sharing good times with family and friends.

Those who knew Bernice, knew her strong ambition towards work and family. Her favourite pastimes were tending to her flower gardens, cooking, feeding the hummingbirds, and gazing at the river watching boats.

A graveside service will be held at Lynnville Cemetery on Saturday August the 8^th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
