It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce Norman Chesterfield, who left us on September 27, 2026, at the age of 53.

Bruce will be deeply missed by his children, Taylor Toth (Rob), Cameron Chesterfield, and Memphis Chesterfield, who were among the greatest loves of his life, and by his only grandson, Lincoln Toth, who brought him immense joy.

He is survived by his parents, Norm and Doris Chesterfield, who were always among his biggest supporters; his siblings, Michelle Diebold (Rob), Ian Chesterfield, Melissa Chesterfield, and Melanie Reid (Mark); and his partner, Treena. He will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Bruce was a friend to so many. He had a remarkable way of staying connected with the people who crossed his path, and over the years, many friends became like brothers to him—both near and far. He had a big heart for the people he loved and created friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

He was always up for an adventure. Bruce loved motorcycles, fast cars, and the excitement of being on the road. In Grade 1, when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Bruce wrote that he wanted to be a truck driver. And that’s exactly what he did. He followed that childhood dream and spent his life behind the wheel, doing what he had always said he wanted to do.

Bruce’s life was complicated at times, but in many ways, it was also simple. He loved his family wholeheartedly. He loved hard, lived life on his own terms, and filled his years with stories, adventures, friendships, and memories that those who knew him will carry forever.

His absence will leave a space that cannot be filled. He will be deeply missed by his family, his children, his grandson, his nieces and nephews, his friends, and the many people whose lives he touched along the way.

He was loved. He is already missed. And he will live on in our memories forever.
