Obituary of Robert James Humphrey

HUMPHREY, Robert James  1935 - 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Humphrey announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the age of 82.  Loving husband of Betty (Shaw) for 60 years.  Father of Shawn (Glenda), Wanda and Wayne Humphrey, all of London.  Extremely proud grandfather of Monika McInnis, Ryan and Dylan Humphrey and Grandpa Bob to Joseph(Saki), Elizabeth(Doug), Brendan(Marta), Siobhan(Michael) and his great grandchildren Kiren, Kyrie, Aubrey and Landon. Also loved by his many nieces, nephews and friends.  Survived by his sisters Joan (Ken) Cooney and Elaine (David) Tewksbury and predeceased by his twin brother Bill (2011).  Bob was a long time employee of Northern Telecom.  He loved his family, his friends, golfing, fishing and watching the Blue Jays on TV while cozied up under his favourite Blue Jays blanket.  He enjoyed his golf and poker games with the boys and he was every ones go-to-guy for fixing all things.  He was always a joker and enjoyed making people laugh and he will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of his life will be held at Eastern Star Temple at 800 Fanshawe Park Road East on Monday, August 14th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  As Bob was a true animal lover, in lieu of flowers we would ask that you consider a donation to the London Humane Society. 

Private family interment will follow.
