Obituary of Betty Jane Armstrong

It's with profound sorrow the family of Betty Jane Armstrong announces her peaceful passing on Sept. 29, 2017 at Parkwood Hospital, London.  Betty was in her 90th year and is lovingly remembered by Robert, her husband of 69 years, her daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Chris Thomson, Connie and Scott Wilkinson, Janet and Murray Klassen. Betty will always be a special Granny to Sam, Joe and Kayla, and Emily Rose.  Betty was predeceased by her brother Pete Grimes and will be missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Marg Grimes, Bob and Jan Grimes, their families, as well as many special nieces, nephews and friends uncluding Leone Grahame and Dorothy Hess and her Beta Sigma Phi sisters known to her for over 67 years.  Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Betty's life will be held at St. Andrew Memorial Anglican Church, 55 Foxbar Road, London, Ontario at 11:00am Wednesday Oct. 4, 2017, luncheon to follow. It is Betty's wish that expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers be made to (myelomacanada.ca) or to the charity of your choice. Special thanks to the oncology and Palliative Care staff at Victoria Hospital, to the Palliative Care Staff at Parkwood Hospital and to Betty's kind and dedicated nurses and doctors.
