Dear Ian, Taylor, Neil & family, On behalf of the Beddoe/Harper family, please accept our deepest condolences. I have fond childhood memories as a friend and neighbor on Hampton Cres and your Dad (and your mom Heather) were always so warm and welcoming. Later in life, I would see your Dad while he was jogging and he would fill me in on his boys and always so proud of each of you. Sorry to hear of his passing and sending deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Shauna Harper (Beddoe)

I send my condolences to all your family. I knew John back in the early days. The late 60's and 70's. He was always a lovely man. The Faculty of Law was small then and we all enjoyed the family atmosphere. Our children were all young and trips to the beach were fun. I was with the Grand Theatre too and knew John's love for the Theatre. I send you peace... So sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure to work with and watch John in action when he had decided to run for City Council. He was so effective as a City Council member, always pushing and fighting for needy persons and organizations. The Grand Theater in London, could not have asked for a better advocate He was a superb supporter and will be so missed. In his professional role he gave of himself, worried about the needs of his clients and Maureen and I have been so thankful to John and to Lerners.
What a great commitment John made to so many citizens and organizations in London. Our condolences to family.

I worked at the law school at western when John taught there and I remember him well. I remember he left to private practice but I think he still came back to the law school as a part time instructor. I am so sorry for the family’s loss. It is obvious that he was very much a family man. Time passes so quickly and I cannot believe he was 75 years old.

I never had the opportunity to meet John however his wife Ann was a good friend of mine from years ago. John must have been an outstanding gentleman to be with the quality of a person that Ann is.
John had chosen a wonderful woman to be his soulmate and it has to be comforting that he was able to find that in life as some of do.
Condolences to the family during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to John's family. As a human resource consultant, I worked with him several years ago in assisting a local non-profit organization to sort out some human resource difficulties they were having.
It was a pleasure working with John to develop and arrive at an equitable solution to the problems at hand. I admired the incisive manner that he brought to the project and his respectful treatment of all concerned. I especially enjoyed he clarity of thought that he brought to our discussions.
John was a credit to his profession and a wonderful model to others on how to approach and develop solutions which were fair and equitable to all. His contribution to the community through his many volunteer roles was above and beyond the norm and served as an inspiration to me to give of oneself so that others may thrive.
I shall remember John well, give thanks for his life and the opportunity that I have had to know him.
Peace be with you.
